Banned for What?

"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" is due in theaters at the end of August, but it’s already getting some buzz.
The Motion Picture Association of America – you know, the movie rating agency – has decided that the poster featuring actress Eva Green in a Rihanna-like gown is unacceptable due to its sexually suggestive nature.
The poster has been banned “for nudity” because it shows the “curve of under breast.” Sounds more like page 10 of a romance novel than a rating decision.
This same agency, by the way, approved the trailer below for the same film for “appropriate audiences.” Because this got by them, you’ve got to assume they spent more time on the poster than they did on the trailer.
Sounds like the ratings board members are some cranky old men. Has anyone seen Statler and Waldorf from “The Muppets Show” lately? I’ll bet they’re behind this.
