Two Rhode Island thieves were arrested by the Connecticut State Police on Wednesday for trying to steal copper from a telecommunications tower in North Stonington, CT.
The pair was caught in the act, and tried to convince the cops that they were employees of the communications company.
Sounds like they failed to check on who uses the tower. In addition to cellular companies, it’s used as a telecommunications hub for the – wait for it! – Connecticut State Police.
Nice job, boys. When Dumb & Dumber 3
starts casting, be sure to have your agent submit you for the leads. That should be happening in three to five years or so.
